The Worldwide Women’s Association Recognizes Salwa Abbasi
Salwa Abbasi is an Educational Consultant at Solace Hub, a support system for exploring alternative educational models across the world to bring diversity and inclusion in learning styles for all kinds of learners (special needs, cognitively challenged and ordinary learners) amidst more competitive and score-bound systems.
An educationist by profession, she is keen to expand her horizon in the field by learning and giving. Institutional growth is her passion and she hopes to develop her own. Being in the field of teaching and as a freelance editor/writer, she is aware of the challenges and thrilled to open doors to new venues of growth especially garden-based learning approaches.
Salwa holds her Masters degree in English from Karachi University, which she obtained in 2009. She also specializes in remedial therapy for special needs students. Moving forward, she plans to continue to grow in her role and hopes to network as much as possible with likeminded professionals worldwide.
In her spare time, Salwa enjoys gardening, travelling and hiking. She strongly believes in the spirit of volunteering and hence has been a part of great many volunteer programs.
