The Worldwide Women’s Association Recognizes Ana Karina Dias
Ana Karina Dias is currently the Chairwoman for Banco BMG in Sao Paolo, Brazil. She is an internationally recognized and experienced Chairwoman, who has had many years working in the financial services sector. She is an expert in business transformation, corporate governance, corporate development, mergers & acquisitions, internal audits, change management, and human resources. Ana liaises with the board and interfaces with shareholders across 5 separate committees: Audits, Strategy and Innovation, Risk, Compensation and Coordination, and Governance. She has been with bank for nearly a year.
Previously, Ana worked at McKinsey & Company for nearly 17 years, starting as a consultant, then as Associate Principal, then as Partner for nearly 9 years. She worked in organizational governance for all of Latin America. Ana also sits on the Innovation and Strategy Committee for TUPY and is on the Committee for Compensation and Human Resources at GSS and at the strategy committee at. She is an accomplished Business Consultant in the Finance sector and Emerging Markets, and has been published in many articles and has worked and coached for many years.
Ana graduated with her master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from The Federal University of Brazil, after completing her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the same university. She also completed coursework at the University of Pennsylvania and is a multilingual professional, speaking English, Portuguese and Spanish.
