Effective therapy is about a number of things: experience, expertise, a clear diagnosis, concise goals, and the knowledge and the tools to effectively navigate difficult life issues. It’s also about possessing a genuine concern for the patient and their pain. Lauren strives to bring an effective blend of experience, expertise, clarity, concern and action to the counseling process, in order to maximize outcomes and provide genuine healing.

Lauren Passoff has recently joined a Wings of the Future Consulting Private Practice as a Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor.  She is thrilled to join Founder and CEO, Krystal Boothe, LCSW on this future endeavor.

Krystal Boothe, owner of Wings of the Future, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has been in the Mental Health field for over 10 years and there is nothing that she finds more rewarding in her career then using her expertise to help people identify and overcome trauma from childhood. She believes it is this trauma that has impacted so many people’s lives and has found it to be the primary reason for emotional dysregulation in many of my patients.

The Mission of Wings of the Future is to facilitate the healing process of marginalized families from trauma so that they can emerge into functional family systems. Their mission is carried out by psycho-educating our families about the correlation between attachment trauma, domestic violence, addiction, mental health, and dysfunctional family relationships. They specifically accomplish our mission by providing various culturally specific parenting groups, psychotherapy groups, individual psychotherapy/ counseling, couples and family therapy, consultations as well as trauma groups and workshops in the community.
