Dr. Chunita Vick, Ed.D., LMSW is the President and Chief Executive Officer of See Believe Achieve through Life Coaching, LLC. Working closely with wounded, ill or injured soldiers, veterans, families and their caregivers, Chunita helps guide them through recovery and processes that will enable them to reach a new state of independence. She is affiliated with the Army Wounded Warrior Program, where she serves as Lead Coordinator and Recovery Care Advocate. Prior to establishing her coaching firm, Chunita honorably served in the United States Army for four years, as an 88M truck driver.
 
Also a bestselling author, Chunita’s research has focused on the transition experience of veterans and families facing an unexpected medical retirement. She was coauthor of the book Camouflaged Sisters, “Behind the Rank Volume 4”, and her best-known research article is “A Phenomenological Study of the Distress of the Army Medical Board Retirement: Applying Schlossberg’s Transition Model.” Chunita Vick also teaches Sociology as an Adjunct Professor at Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology.
 
After earning a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Chunita went on to complete a Master of Science in Social Work at the University of Texas at Arlington. In 2012, she completed her EdD in Organizational Leadership, with an emphasis in behavioral health, from Grand Canyon University.
 
A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, today Chunita calls Liberty Hill, Texas home. She is committed to making a positive difference in other’s lives, and credits her success to focus, drive and perseverance.
