certifications and degrees at the top of her class at New York and Columbia Universities, The City College
of New York and the International School of Feng Shui. She currently owns a social-emotional company
that proudly bears her name. Under this brand, La Shell hosts her own podcast (Abandon Ordinary), co-
host a streaming show on YouTube and Facebook (The Ladies First Chit Chat Crew), teaches at Columbia
University’s Graduate School of Social Work, offers life-affirming products (Abandon Ordinary Self-
Discovery Deck & Journal) and leads energy-shifting workshops, programs and events globally such
as The Recovery Room designed to recalibrate leaders in a post-pandemic work environment.
Her messaging and insights have reached over 80,000 listeners through her podcast and streaming
show. Wooten’s combined work with individuals, groups, families and organizations has directly
impacted over 200,000 people and influenced countless others. In everything she does, Wooten uses a
no-filter, yet comfortable approach to providing positive guidance and productive perspectives on
