For Neeve Guinnane, possibility begins with a deceptively simple question: what matters most now? It is a question that can open space for clearer decisions, renewed confidence and purposeful action—especially when a person feels stuck, unheard or uncertain about the next step.

As founder of ‘Be’ Coaching Solutions, Guinnane works with leaders, women in business, people advancing or changing careers, and individuals responding to major life or workplace transitions. Her emphasis is not on prescribing a single route forward. Instead, she creates a supportive, nonjudgmental and inclusive setting in which clients can examine what may be holding them back, identify priorities and develop tools for sustainable change.

From global HR leadership to coaching

Guinnane’s coaching practice is grounded in more than 23 years in the corporate business world. She held senior human resources positions with technology companies including Facebook and LinkedIn, operating globally and serving as an HR Director at LinkedIn. Having also lived in different parts of Europe and the United Kingdom before residing in Ireland, she brings experience of varied workplaces and cultures to her work.

Coaching was already an important part of her HR career. She supported people up to executive level, including executives, leaders, high-performing individual contributors and emerging talent. That experience placed her close to the questions that often accompany responsibility and ambition: how to lead authentically, communicate with confidence, make a change or move forward when an inner critic is louder than one’s own sense of direction.

Guinnane qualified as a professional Executive and Life Coach in 2013. In 2018, she added a qualification in Coaching with Neuroscience through the World Association of Coaching with Neuroscience. She left her corporate position and opened ‘Be’ Coaching Solutions in September 2019, turning a long-established element of her HR work into the focus of her business.

Helping women find and use their voices

A central strand of Guinnane’s practice is coaching women in business. Her work focuses on helping clients gain clarity, strengthen confidence, find their voices and become more visible without losing sight of who they are. This includes exploring the self-doubt or persistent inner commentary that can prevent capable people from recognizing options, articulating their value or taking a meaningful next step.

Her approach combines trust with accountability. Clients are given room to reflect and become more aware of recurring patterns, while also maintaining focus on the issues they have identified as important. The aim is to support authentic choices rather than impose a fixed definition of professional success.

This perspective is particularly relevant for leaders. Leadership can require strategic thinking and decisive action, but it also asks people to understand how they affect others and how their values appear in everyday behavior. Guinnane’s background in business and people leadership informs coaching that considers both organizational realities and individual aspirations.

Head, heart and gut

Guinnane describes her work as a whole-person approach involving the head, heart and gut. In practice, that means looking beyond a goal in isolation. Rational analysis has a place, but so do emotional responses, personal values, intuition and the way someone wants to show up in the world.

That framework can be applied across leadership development, career transition and advancement, life changes, and redundancy support. During redundancy, for example, Guinnane’s programme addresses both the emotional experience of change and practical preparation for a next role. Its outlined topics include mindset, well-being, transferable skills, CVs and professional profiles, networking, interview preparation, goal setting and an individualized action plan.

The combination reflects a consistent theme in her practice: reflection and action are not competing priorities. Awareness can help a client understand what is happening, while a practical plan can convert that understanding into movement.

A coaching philosophy built around being

The name ‘Be’ Coaching Solutions captures Guinnane’s invitation to clients: be empowered, be inspired and be yourself. It also signals that development is not solely about accumulating achievements. It can involve becoming clearer about identity, choices and the conditions needed to thrive.

Her mission to “ignite the power of possibility” connects the different parts of her work. Whether someone is stepping into leadership, seeking greater visibility, reconsidering a career or managing an unexpected transition, the starting point is careful exploration. From there, confidence can be built through awareness, support, accountability and achievable action—one deliberate next step at a time.
