    As a dynamic, results-driven sales leader with demonstrated success driving multimillion-dollar profitable growth of premium products, Michela provides visionary leadership in the highly competitive medical devices, clinical diagnostic and life science industries. Over the past 15+ years, Michela has grown through several leadership roles in research and commercial operations at large cap organizations. Michela received her MBA in Marketing from Queen’s University following a successful start in enzymology drug discovery research whereby she co-authored multiple white papers, conference presentations and two provisional patents. She has an MSc and a HonBASc in Biochemistry from McMaster University. She enjoys participating in volunteer and community outreach programs, as well as Leadership Mentorship programs. She is constantly active and likes to hike, cross country ski, curl or participate in any activity that keeps her outdoors. She has a passion for diverse cultures and is often travelling abroad. Currently, Michela leads the Canadian operations of Welch Allyn Canada Ltd, a Division of Hill Rom Company, as Director. Welch Allyn is the leading global manufacturer of medical diagnostic equipment with a wide range of connected software solutions. Through this role, she plays an integral part in improving patient care and saving lives through the commercialization of medical devices designed and manufactured by Welch Allyn.
