Dr. Almudena Konrad is an accomplished Computer Science Professor with a distinguished academic journey. Throughout her career, she has been deeply committed to advancing computer science education and research. After receiving her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley, she served as a Computer Science Professor at Mills College and continues to contribute as a teaching faculty member at Northeastern University in California. Dr. Konrad is renowned for her research contributions, with notable achievements including 12 conference publications and receiving the prestigious Best Paper Award at the ACM MobiCom Conference. She has also demonstrated a passion for education and empowering young minds as the founder of KidsLogic, an academic program that taught computer programming and logic to children and teenagers. Beyond her academic pursuits, Almudena Konrad is a proud mother of three teenagers, nurturing a fulfilling family life alongside her successful career.
