Relocation programs bring together policies, processes, technology, client priorities, and the individual needs of employees navigating change. For Candice Elnashar, PMP, approaching that complexity requires more than managing a list of tasks. It calls for examining the full experience, identifying opportunities for improvement, and building solutions that work for both organizations and the people they support.

Recently promoted to Director of Client Solutions at Odyssey Relocation Management, Candice leads work involving client implementations, policy consulting, and process improvement. Her responsibilities extend across varied client projects as well as the development and enhancement of internal and external workflows. The common thread is a solutions-focused approach grounded in relocation expertise and project management.

Building a Career Across Relocation Functions

Candice began her relocation career in 2015 as a Relocation Associate supporting Relocation Consultants. Within six months, she advanced to a Relocation Consultant position. She spent the next two and a half years supporting major organizations and gaining direct experience with the coordination and service involved in employee moves.

That foundation led to a position in Consulting Services, where she worked for another two and a half years. The move broadened her focus from day-to-day relocation support to the policies, programs, and processes that shape service delivery. She later became a Product Manager of Software and spent two years helping to grow and build her employer’s software suite.

These roles gave Candice experience across several connected sides of mobility: consultant support, direct relocation service, consulting, technology, and product management. Rather than treating those areas as separate disciplines, her current work brings them together. Understanding how a policy affects a relocating employee, how a workflow affects a service team, and how software supports both can help reveal where a process needs closer attention.

Turning Complexity Into Practical Improvements

Candice joined Odyssey Relocation in August 2021 to lead its Consulting Services and Client Solutions team. In her current leadership role, she supports client projects while continuing to strengthen the practices behind them. This includes improving project management methods and refining workflows used inside the organization and with clients.

Client implementation is one area where her background converges. An implementation requires translating program requirements into coordinated actions while keeping the intended customer experience in view. Policy consulting adds another dimension, asking how program design aligns with organizational needs and the realities of relocation. Process improvement then creates an opportunity to address gaps, reduce friction, and make those systems more effective.

For Candice, innovation is connected to this broader view. Her holistic approach considers how the parts of a mobility program interact rather than looking at a single task in isolation. That perspective supports her goal of delivering a world-class customer experience while helping clients uncover opportunities for new or improved solutions.

Project Management With a Human Perspective

Candice earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a concentration in Psychology from Saint Cloud State University. She became a certified Project Management Professional in 2018 and remains passionate about the project management field. The discipline provides a framework for organizing complex work, while her relocation background keeps attention on the people experiencing the outcome.

Based in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Candice also draws on her own experience with relocation when connecting with clients and their employees. That personal perspective complements her professional knowledge. Mobility may involve policies and workflows, but it also affects an employee’s daily life, sense of stability, and transition to a new place. Recognizing both dimensions can support more thoughtful conversations and solutions.

Growing a Team and an Entrepreneurial Pursuit

As Director of Client Solutions, Candice is focused on continuing to build her department and team. Her progression from an associate role to department leadership reflects a career shaped by expanding responsibilities and a willingness to work across service, consulting, software, and operational improvement.

Outside her relocation career, Candice owns a small business in the beauty industry. Running that venture gives her another setting in which to apply organization, customer awareness, and an entrepreneurial mindset. On weekends when she is not working on the business, she enjoys traveling.

Across these pursuits, Candice maintains a consistent interest in how experiences are designed and delivered. In mobility, that means connecting structured project practices with an understanding of relocation’s personal impact—and using both to guide the next stage of Client Solutions at Odyssey.
