Priyanka Kaushal Brings Clarity to Complex Finance Transformations
Senior Consultant Priyanka Kaushal draws on more than 15 years in asset, equipment, and auto finance to connect business needs with practical technology solutions.
Complex financial technology programs depend on more than choosing a system or defining a target state. They require people who can understand how a business operates, recognize the connections among processes, and turn competing requirements into decisions that implementation teams can act upon. That intersection of business, technology, and delivery has shaped the career of Priyanka Kaushal.
Now a Senior Consultant at Teamwill, Priyanka brings more than 15 years of experience across asset finance, equipment finance, auto finance, leasing, and financial technology. Her work has progressed through business analysis, functional consulting, solution architecture, and large-scale transformation delivery. Across those roles, one responsibility has remained central: connecting business needs with system capabilities in a practical way.
Returning to auto finance with a wider perspective
Priyanka’s current role marks a new chapter at Teamwill and a return to the auto finance sector after several years working more broadly across equipment and asset finance. That wider experience gives her a useful perspective on the shared demands and distinct operational considerations found across different forms of financing.
She is currently supporting a large-scale auto finance transformation involving Finance & Accounting and key servicing processes. The work requires close collaboration with business and technology stakeholders, as well as careful attention to how decisions in one area may affect processes, integrations, testing, and implementation elsewhere.
Rather than viewing transformation as a single technical event, Priyanka’s experience encompasses the connected stages needed to move an initiative forward. These include gathering and clarifying requirements, examining processes, supporting configuration and integration, participating in testing, and helping prepare solutions for implementation. Each stage presents different questions, but all depend on a consistent understanding of the intended business outcome.
Making ambiguity workable
A defining strength in Priyanka’s approach is her ability to understand complex business processes quickly. In transformation programs, requirements may begin as broad objectives, incomplete assumptions, or needs expressed differently by separate stakeholder groups. Her role is to ask focused questions, identify gaps and dependencies, and translate that ambiguity into clear, workable solutions.
This translation calls for both domain knowledge and consulting judgment. A proposed system capability may appear suitable in isolation while creating an issue for another process. A requirement may address an immediate need without accounting for integration or testing impacts. By looking across business processes and technology considerations, Priyanka helps teams develop a clearer picture of what a solution must accomplish and what must be resolved before delivery can proceed confidently.
Her practical delivery mindset is equally important. The objective is not complexity for its own sake, but an approach that teams can configure, test, implement, and use. Simplifying processes, surfacing dependencies, and improving solution quality can give stakeholders a stronger basis for decisions while helping an initiative maintain momentum.
Experience across the transformation lifecycle
Priyanka developed her perspective through work with Genpact, NETSOL, Solifi, and Teamwill. Across these organizations, she has contributed to complex financial systems and transformation initiatives spanning requirements, process design, configuration, integration, testing, and implementation.
That range allows her to consider a challenge from several viewpoints. Business analysis builds an understanding of stakeholder needs and current processes. Functional consulting connects those needs to available capabilities. Solution architecture brings attention to how components and dependencies fit together. Delivery experience grounds the proposed design in the realities of implementation.
Bringing those viewpoints together is the contribution Priyanka values most. She is particularly proud of helping teams move forward with greater clarity and confidence by combining finance-domain knowledge, consulting skills, and a focus on practical execution.
Building toward configuration-driven solutions
Continuous learning supports the next stage of Priyanka’s work. Alongside her project responsibilities, she has completed a Microsoft Product Owner certification and the ALFA Foundation course, strengthening her product perspective and familiarity with contemporary asset finance technology.
Looking ahead, Priyanka wants to work more deeply with low-code and configuration-driven finance platforms. The area aligns with the capabilities she has developed throughout her career: interpreting customer requirements, connecting them to system functionality, improving processes, and shaping scalable solutions.
For Priyanka, effective transformation is ultimately about creating shared understanding. When business goals, process realities, and system capabilities are brought into alignment, teams can make better-informed choices and deliver with greater purpose. Her career demonstrates the value of the professional who can build those connections—and turn complexity into a path forward.
