The Worldwide Women’s Association Recognizes Sherri Moore

Sherri Moore, MSSW, LSSW, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Sherri Moore Therapy Services in Charlestown, Indiana, with more than a decade of experience supporting children, adults, and families. Her work encompasses school-based behavioral health, psychotherapy, case management, home-based services, crisis support, and advocacy for accessible mental healthcare across Indiana.

Since 2021, Sherri has served as a licensed school social worker and licensed clinical social worker at Madison Consolidated Schools. She delivers behavioral health interventions, crisis assistance, and guidance to students and families navigating educational, personal, and emotional challenges. This position allows her to apply her clinical background within a school environment while addressing the needs of young people and their support systems.

Sherri established Sherri Moore Therapy Services in 2025, expanding her impact through telehealth and in-person therapy. Her private practice provides psychotherapy, case management, and home-based support tailored to individual client needs throughout Indiana. Her areas of specialization include trauma-focused therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, commonly known as EMDR, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

From 2019 to 2021, Sherri worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for the State of Indiana. She assisted clients in addressing significant barriers to employment and pursuing greater personal independence. Previously, from 2014 to 2019, she provided outpatient therapy at LifeSpring Health Systems, where her responsibilities included collaborating with families involved with the Department of Child Services.

Her professional path in social work began at Ireland Home-Based Services in 2013. Before entering that role, Sherri gained formative experience working in youth shelters during her undergraduate studies. Those early opportunities helped shape her interest in community-based behavioral health and established a foundation for her subsequent work with individuals and families facing complex circumstances.

Sherri earned her Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Louisville in 2013. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, with a minor in sociology, at Indiana University Southeast in 2009. She holds licensure as a School Social Worker through the Indiana Department of Education and as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in behavioral health.

Her professional affiliations include the National Association of Social Workers and the Indiana School Social Work Association, providing opportunities for development and collaboration within the profession. Her submitted record also lists recognition by the National Honor Society at Indiana University Southeast and a scholarship from the Indiana School Social Work Association. She is scheduled for induction into Marquis Who’s Who in America in June 2026.

Looking ahead, Sherri plans to expand her private practice while continuing to advocate for open access to mental health treatment. She is committed to reducing stigma and encouraging individuals and families to view seeking help as a necessary and empowering step toward well-being. The Worldwide Women’s Association welcomes fellow members to connect with Sherri for professional collaboration, networking, and potential referrals.
