Yinna Higuera Bernal

Yinna Higuera is a multifaceted professional in the realms of photography, education, management, and editing. With a staunch commitment to leveraging photography as a transformative social, cultural, and educational instrument, she actively strives to bridge the chasm between individual and collective experiences. Currently undertaking a Master's in Photography and Latin American Society, Yinna's work is deeply rooted in developing public-private strategies to foster socially-conscious projects with an educational and artistic impetus across Latin America. Yinna holds significant roles as a co-founder of the Foundation for Educational and Pedagogical Development EDP, the Latin American Center for Educational and Scientific Action CLAEC, and the Photographic Collective SolipsisArt. As the director of Catarsis Editorial and President of the Association of Ecuadorian Photographers, she continues to promote her dedication to her craft and commitment to generating societal impact through her work. She is also a part of the advisory committee for Photography of the Year, POY LATAM. and a member of the Professional Photographers of America. With a distinct proficiency in photography, cultural management, and NGO management, Yinna has earned recognition for her unwavering focus, drive, and perseverance. She welcomes the opportunity to connect with other industry professionals who share her passion for effecting positive change.
