Award-Winning Photographer Sarah Patch of Unspoken Images Photography Celebrates Inclusive Storytelling Through the Lens
Sarah Patch, founder of Unspoken Images Photography, continues to make an indelible mark on the photography world through her heartfelt, inclusive, and award-winning portrait work. With over two decades of experience, Sarah is known for capturing the unspoken essence of her subjects, blending artistic sensitivity with deep empathy.
A graduate of Case Western Reserve University with a degree in Communications and further training in photography and graphic design at Cuyahoga Community College, Sarah brings a unique fusion of storytelling and visual artistry. Her background in modern dance also informs her work, lending a fluid and expressive quality to every image.
From individual and couple portraits to maternity, children, families, individuals with different abilities and their families/caregivers, high school and college seniors, older adult community (ages 65+), and pets, Sarah’s diverse portfolio reflects her belief that every person deserves to be seen and celebrated. Especially close to her heart is working with individuals with different abilities and their families/caregivers—a mission fueled from her personal experience as a mother of a daughter who had special needs.
“This is a safe space for everyone—regardless of ability, background, culture, religion, or sexual orientation/identity,” says Sarah. “My goal is to make each client feel seen, respected, and feel beautiful.”
Her inclusive philosophy has led to collaborations with organizations like the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation’s Universal Access Program, volunteer work with the Sharon Council on Aging, The Stoughton Pride Day (2 years and counting), and underserved communities across Massachusetts. Sarah’s dedication has not gone unnoticed—she’s been honored with numerous accolades, including:

In addition to her photographic work, Sarah is a mentor to aspiring youth photographers and was a guest speaker at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design presenting a lecture on entrepreneurship in the arts.
