Worldwide Women’s Association Recognizes Nadiya Levchenko

Nadiya Levchenko Honored as Global Leader in Faith-Based Education and Social Justice
CHICAGO, IL – Nadiya Levchenko, an internationally recognized leader in education, nonprofit development, and faith-based mission work, is making waves on the global stage with more than two decades of service spanning six countries and countless lives transformed. Known for her strategic insight, cultural fluency, and unwavering commitment to equity, Levchenko continues to inspire innovation and compassion at the intersection of education, social justice, and spiritual leadership.
Currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry at The Catholic University of America and an Executive MBA at Quantic School of Business and Technology, Levchenko combines academic rigor with real-world impact. She brings advanced theological training and multilingual fluency—Ukrainian, Russian, Polish, Slovak, Italian, and English—to her work empowering underserved and marginalized communities worldwide.
Levchenko has led transformative programs in Poland, Slovakia, Italy, the Philippines, Siberia, and the United States. Her career includes senior leadership roles at the University of Saint Mary of the Lake (USML), where she directed the groundbreaking Tolton Teaching Parish Program, and at Catholic Theological Union, where she oversaw national-level continuing education initiatives. In one of her many crowning achievements, Levchenko co-led a successful $5 million grant proposal to the Lilly Endowment, supporting formation programs for pastoral ministers and lay leaders across the U.S.
“As a leader, Nadiya brings a rare blend of strategic vision, cultural sensitivity, and a deep-rooted sense of purpose,” said a USML colleague. “She’s not only transforming institutions—she’s transforming lives.”
Her legacy of impact includes:
- Directing faith-based educational programs for over 500 students and 120 educators.
- Launching social justice and formation initiatives across remote regions of Eastern Europe and Asia.
- Securing international grants from organizations such as Renovabis and Kirche in Not.
- Serving on the board of Holy Spirit Life Learning Center, advancing community support for immigrant families in the Chicago area.
Levchenko has received numerous accolades for her leadership, including a Recognition Award from the Diocese of Irkutsk, where she helped establish ministerial formation across the world’s largest Catholic diocese by land area. In 2024, she was honored by USML/Mundelein Seminary for her visionary leadership in pastoral formation.
“I believe transformational leadership begins with listening,” says Levchenko. “Whether you’re in a rural parish in Siberia or a diverse urban neighborhood in the U.S., people deserve to be seen, heard, and empowered.”
Levchenko’s work stands as a powerful reminder that faith, strategy, and service can come together to change the world—one program, one community, and one person at a time.
