The Worldwide Women’s Association Recognizes Miriam Freire

Miriam Freire, Director of Commercial Strategy, Analysis & Sales Operations at APG USA, is an aviation professional whose experience encompasses airline business development, commercial analysis, and sales operations. An Ecuadorian woman based in New York City, she supports airline partners seeking to grow their presence in the U.S. market while strengthening relationships with travel agencies and turning sales data and market insights into practical commercial actions.

In her current role, Miriam evaluates airline performance and identifies business opportunities that can inform commercial priorities. Her work requires her to examine available information, recognize meaningful developments, and help connect analysis with action. By coordinating reporting, she contributes to a clearer understanding of performance and helps ensure that airline partners receive relevant commercial support.

Miriam also guides Inside Sales processes designed to improve the assistance APG USA provides to its partners. This area of responsibility brings together operational coordination, partner needs, and commercial objectives. Her approach reflects the interconnected nature of aviation sales, in which useful reporting, responsive processes, and productive agency relationships all contribute to the pursuit of market growth.

Relationship building is an important part of Miriam’s professional focus. She works to strengthen connections with travel agencies while supporting airline partners as they navigate the U.S. market. Her Ecuadorian roots and professional life in New York City have also shaped the cross-cultural perspective she brings to an industry that depends on communication and cooperation among people, organizations, and markets.

Collaboration and continuous learning remain central to Miriam’s ongoing development. She values the exchange of knowledge and experience, particularly when it can help professionals better understand different perspectives and identify effective ways to work together. That commitment complements her analytical responsibilities by keeping attention on the relationships and shared efforts behind commercial activity.

As she continues her journey in aviation, Miriam is committed to further growth within the industry. Her plans center on building upon her experience in airline business development, commercial analysis, and sales operations while continuing to support partners through informed and practical work. She also intends to remain engaged with opportunities that encourage learning, connection, and collaboration across cultures.

Through her membership in the Worldwide Women’s Association, Miriam looks forward to connecting with other women leaders, exchanging professional experiences, and exploring opportunities to collaborate. WWA members are invited to welcome Miriam to the network and connect with her to share insights about leadership, cross-cultural collaboration, commercial strategy, and the aviation industry.
