Based in Chicago and available for remote projects, Kaplan operates as the founder and creative force behind Kre8ivK8 Designs LLC, a studio known for its fresh, consistent, and visually stunning work across healthcare, marketing, and digital media.
Katie’s career spans a wide spectrum of industries, with a core focus on branding and identity design, creative direction, and content visualization. Leveraging her mastery of Adobe Creative Suite and an intuitive eye for design, Katie has led successful campaigns across print, social media, and digital platforms. Her work reflects a rare balance of precision and creativity—delivering not only beautiful designs, but also cohesive brand systems that drive engagement and elevate businesses.
In addition to running her own studio since 2007, Katie currently serves as a Media Specialist at Shriners Children’s Chicago, where she develops impactful, story-driven content in a highly respected healthcare environment.
Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Bradley University, and her design philosophy centers on clarity, alignment, and visual storytelling. She has been instrumental in brand refreshes, logo redesigns, and the development of compelling marketing collateral for organizations looking to elevate their public image.
