Dr. Janet Curcio Wilson, PhD, ATR, is a nationally respected mindfulness coach, learning specialist, and holistic education advocate with more than 49 years of experience in special education teaching and administration across public and private schools. As the founder of Inspired Learning Coaching, LLC, Dr. Curcio Wilson specializes in brain retraining, mindfulness-based learning, and neurofeedback approaches that empower differently-abled learners to improve focus, emotional regulation, and executive functioning. Her work blends science, creativity, and compassion to support learners ages 3 to 103 through both in-person and virtual services.
Dr. Curcio Wilson is a Certified Special Educator, Administrator, Learning Specialist, Ecopsychologist, Registered Art Therapist (ATR), Certified Consulting Hypnotist, Nature and Art Therapist, Waldorf Educator, and Play Attention® Clinician. Her signature programs—including Mindfulness Plus!© and Play Attention®—use EEG neurofeedback, expressive art therapy, self-hypnosis, and focused attention techniques to help individuals manage anxiety, reduce depression, strengthen self-regulation, and rediscover the joy of learning. Inspired Learning Coaching also offers adult programs focused on mindfulness, weight loss, and hypnotherapy.
In addition to brain retraining services, Dr. Curcio Wilson provides Holistic Education Advocacy, partnering with families to navigate IEP and 504 processes, review evaluations, and collaborate with schools to create meaningful, individualized educational plans. Her advocacy model incorporates non-pharmacological, whole-child approaches and partnerships with licensed nutritionists and naturopathic doctors.
