The Worldwide Women’s Association Recognizes Audrey Couture

Audrey Couture, Management Coach and Head of Regulatory Affairs & Quality Assurance at Biocodex Canada, brings more than 20 years of strategic team leadership to her work in the pharmaceutical sector. Based in Bromont, Quebec, she has developed extensive experience in regulatory affairs, quality assurance, pharmacovigilance, international business development, and leadership coaching across Canada and the United States.

Audrey originally envisioned building her career as a scientist. Over time, she gained expertise involving pharmaceutical, natural health product, and cosmetic companies, working in fields where regulatory requirements, business priorities, and public health considerations demand careful judgment. Her experience in rapidly changing regulatory and international environments strengthened her ability to make timely decisions despite uncertainty while keeping teams aligned with strategic objectives.

A promotion into team management marked an important development in Audrey’s professional path. The experience revealed her passion for leadership and for helping people recognize and apply their strengths. She believes that when individuals understand what they contribute, they are better equipped to bring their best to both their teams and the wider business.

Her international business development experience has also required her to adapt to different cultures and influence teams working toward shared goals. Audrey approaches strategic planning with an awareness of both people and performance, combining compassionate leadership with a clear focus on objectives. She takes particular pride in seeing team members advance individually while also becoming stronger and more cohesive as a group.

A lifelong learner, Audrey holds two master’s degrees: one in pharmacology and another in business management and development. She completed the latter at Université Laval in 2019. She later completed an International Coaching Federation-certified Professional Coaching Program through the ACTin International Transformational Coaching Academy, expanding her ability to help colleagues and clients develop into the leaders they are capable of becoming.

Audrey’s coaching approach is captured by her personal mantra, “Think. Act. Grow.” She encourages coachees to gain clarity by thinking beyond familiar assumptions, learn through action and experimentation, and expand their comfort zones as they develop their potential. Her work is grounded in a growth mindset, humility, authenticity, and fun, along with her belief that leadership is a meaningful calling and that the world needs more capable leaders.

Through coaching, Audrey supports personal development as well as collective team growth. Her strengths include empathetic listening, strategic thinking, team leadership, and helping people navigate volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous environments. She credits meaningful relationships, deep listening, reliability, and an objective-focused perspective as central elements of her professional approach, and she can support businesses and coachees in both French and English.

Audrey is affiliated with Women Leaders in Pharma and the Food, Health & Consumer Products of Canada, where she is a member of the Health Products Information Working Group. She is interested in connecting with seasoned and newly appointed managers, particularly in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, health, and wellness industries, who want to strengthen their leadership and team-mobilization capabilities.

WWA members are invited to connect with Audrey to exchange perspectives on leadership coaching, regulatory strategy, team development, and navigating change in complex industries.
