Yaisy Gonzalez is an occupational safety, regulatory compliance, and food protection professional with more than 30 years of experience whose work spans industrial safety, food import compliance, organic certification, workforce training, and audit readiness. As CEO of Sealandair Consultants Inc., she provides specialized consulting services in FDA Foreign Supplier Verification Programs (FSVP), USDA Organic certification, OSHA compliance, and food safety systems, helping organizations navigate complex regulatory requirements while strengthening operational performance. Guided by the company slogan, “Your Safety in Our Hands,” she is committed to helping businesses achieve and maintain the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
Since founding Sealandair Consultants in 2018, Yaisy Gonzalez has supported more than 50 companies throughout the United States, the Caribbean, Central America, and South America in achieving and maintaining regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and certification success. Her expertise includes food handling, packing, storage, distribution, and import operations, where she helps businesses build practical systems that meet evolving federal and industry standards while supporting long-term growth. She also assists organizations in preparing for FDA inspections, USDA Organic audits, PrimusGFS audits, OSHA inspections, customer audits, and Social Responsibility audits, helping them strengthen compliance programs and maintain continuous readiness.
In addition to leading her consulting practice, Yaisy Gonzalez serves as a Safety Engineer for one of the world’s largest steel manufacturers. In this role, she leads initiatives focused on hazard analysis, injury prevention, risk reduction, and strengthening safety culture across multiple operations. Her ability to bridge regulatory compliance with real-world operational challenges has earned her recognition as a trusted advisor in both industrial and food-sector environments.
Yaisy Gonzalez’s educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health with a concentration in Environmental Management, earned with a 4.0 GPA, complemented by additional academic credentials in Occupational Safety and Health. She is an authorized OSHA trainer and holds numerous professional certifications, including Mental Health First Aid Trainer through the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, American Heart Association CPR/AED/First Aid Instructor, Forklift Train-the-Trainer, and Fall Protection Authorized Trainer through 3M.
Beyond her professional responsibilities, Yaisy Gonzalez is actively involved in community preparedness and emergency response. She is a Certified Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) member for the City of Miami Beach and holds a United States Coast Guard Six-Pack Captain’s License, reflecting her commitment to public safety both on and off the job.
