Stephanie Dolan Launches Age Well Consulting to Elevate Elder Care Navigation Across Canada

Stephanie Dolan, Founder of Age Well Consulting, is bringing more than a decade of frontline geriatric expertise to families seeking clarity and confidence in the aging journey. With a career defined by compassion, clinical precision, and steadfast advocacy, Dolan has supported hundreds of families across Canada as they navigate complex health, cognitive, and long-term care decisions.

A graduate of Sir Sandford Fleming College with a Diploma in Recreation & Leisure, Dolan is currently completing her Bachelor of Arts in Gerontology at Laurentian University. Her academic work reflects her enduring commitment to aging studies and person-centered care, strengthening the evidence-based foundation behind Age Well Consulting’s services.

Dolan’s clinical training is both extensive and specialized. She holds certifications in dementia and behavioral care, including P.I.E.C.E.S. and Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care; palliative and end-of-life care through the Fundamentals of Hospice Palliative Care program; cognitive and psychiatric assessment tools including MoCA and CAT certification; and advanced geriatric care training through McMaster University’s Art & Science of Geriatric Care. She is also certified in Mental Health First Aid and person-centered language training, reinforcing her holistic and respectful approach to client support.

For more than 11 years, Dolan served as a Geriatric Assessor and Client Support Specialist with Ontario’s Geriatric Assessment Intervention Network (GAIN). Working within an interdisciplinary team of geriatricians, pharmacists, occupational therapists, and social workers, she co-developed individualized care plans for older adults living with complex cognitive, physical, and mental health conditions. Her collaborative leadership helped families make informed decisions while ensuring seniors’ dignity and autonomy remained central to care planning.

Dolan remains actively engaged in professional development and is a regular attendee of the McMaster University Annual Update in Geriatrics, staying at the forefront of evolving best practices in elder care.
