Carolina Gomez Weber Brings More Than 25 Years of Executive Leadership to Healthcare Innovation and Social Impact

With more than two decades of executive experience spanning the pharmaceutical, healthcare, consumer goods, and nonprofit sectors, Carolina Gomez Weber has built a career at the intersection of commercial excellence, patient-centered innovation, and purpose-driven leadership.

Throughout her career, Gomez Weber has held senior leadership positions with global organizations including Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Wyeth, Unilever, Colgate-Palmolive, and Bimbo. Her expertise spans commercial strategy, market access, patient experience, digital transformation, marketing, portfolio management, and business leadership across Chile and the Andean Cluster.

Known for aligning business performance with meaningful social outcomes, Gomez Weber has led initiatives that expand access to healthcare while delivering sustainable value for organizations and the communities they serve. Among her notable achievements is the leadership of Patient Support Programs across the Andean Cluster, where innovative care models and digital solutions positively impacted more than 8,000 patients.

A defining aspect of her leadership is her commitment to advancing health equity beyond the corporate sector. Gomez Weber currently serves on the Board of Fundación Acrux, where she leads the Strategic Committee. In this role, she helps shape the organization’s long-term strategic direction, strengthens cross-sector partnerships, and supports initiatives that improve healthcare access for underserved populations.

Her professional mission is rooted in connecting strategic business leadership with measurable social impact, fostering collaboration among healthcare stakeholders to improve patient outcomes while driving organizational growth.

Gomez Weber holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, postgraduate studies in Humanistic Transpersonal Psychology from Universidad Diego Portales, and a Diploma in Healthcare Administration and Management from the University of Chile. In 2020, she was honored with the Outstanding Graduate Award by the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Chile in recognition of her exceptional academic performance and overall achievement throughout the program. She also completed the Executive Leadership Program at Princeton University in 2007.

In recognition of her professional accomplishments and leadership, Gomez Weber was selected as a member of the Worldwide Women’s Association in 2026.
