The Worldwide Women’s Association Recognizes Dr. Laura Methot
Dr. Laura Methot is a behavioural scientist with 30 years of experience in making change happen. Adept at recruiting, leading and motivating top-performing teams to deliver on tough projects and challenging situations, she builds powerful long-lasting partnerships with business leaders to drive sustainable change and business transformations.
With a passion for helping organizations build the leadership and performance capabilities necessary to support outstanding execution, the impact of Dr. Methot’s work is evident in the quantitative results evidenced by her clients, and how her clients talk of tangible culture change. Laura designs and implements behavior-based leadership and organizational development systems. She tailors programs to improve process effectiveness, change implementation and non-value-add reduction success for each client.
After earning a bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Saint Mary’s University, Laura went on to earn both a Master of Arts in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and a PhD in Applied Behaviour Analysis from Western Michigan University. She has presented at conferences for the Association of Behavior Analysis International, the Atlantic Conference on Ergonomics, the Canadian Psychological Association, the Canadian Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and the Canadian Institute of Mining.
Dr. Methot resides in Nova Scotia, Canada and is currently on sabbatical following 17 years with CLG (Continuous Learning Group, Inc) where she was a Senior Partner and Managing Director for CLG’s Canadian business.
