The Worldwide Women’s Association recognizes Róisín Pitman


 

With over 38 years of professional experience in her field, Roisin Pitman, a retired police officer, is a Security Industry Operative & Educator at Talis Risk Management Solutions Ltd., where she is a private investigator, surveillance specialist and door security for licensed premises. Róisín, is also a nationally qualified security industry instructor, providing lectures and courses for security and law enforcement personnel.
 

Róisín is a 6th Dan black belt in the Japanese martial art of Aikido and a specialist in self defence for women and control & restraint for security and police officers. She volunteers with the Jersey Sports Association for the Disabled as the Director of Disability Martial Arts and is a keen amateur journalist and blogger. Moving forward, Róisín plans to encourage more women to enter the security and law enforcement professions and is happy to share her knowledge and experiences with others.
