The Worldwide Women’s Association Recognizes Laura Wintemute
Originally from Canada, Laura Wintemute is the Founder and CEO of Homestead Denmark where she helps internationals get settled in Denmark when they move to the country. In this role, she is known for her dynamic interpersonal skill and passion for her work. The goal of Homestead is to get newcomers and their families acclimated as quickly as possible so they can spend more time exploring that new job, new school or new neighborhood.
After several years experience working as a relocation service professional in Denmark, relocating thousands of working professionals and their families, Laura found that nearly all newcomers still had so many unanswered questions once they arrived. Laura started Homestead – Denmark’s first personalized service that goes beyond relocation, and welcomes international work professionals as the Go-To Guide to help people get established into their new environment quickly, and with ease. With a new job, new home, new language, new school, and a new culture to navigate, getting settled can be a difficult and time-consuming task. Homestead answers all questions promptly and guides people step-by-step, so newcomers can get on with their daily life and start enjoying Denmark.
Moving forward, she plans to grow her company on a global scale and to move to the suburbs of Copenhagen with her family. Laura also hopes to network as much as possible with likeminded professionals worldwide.
In her spare time, Laura enjoys spending time with her family.
