The Worldwide Women’s Association Recognizes Karla Parfitt
As CEO of KYO Maintenance, Karla Parfitt oversees a thriving property management firm. They offer property maintenance, commercial & residential renovations, landscaping and cleaning services to their clients, and are quickly growing into a fixture in the Smith’s Parish, Bermuda community.
Additionally, Karla has served as Case Manager and Assessment Officer for the Department of Corrections for over 5 years. She provides case management, provides psychological and drug assessments, counseling, identify high-risk behaviors and assist with treatment planning, and reintegration planning. She specializes in social psychology and is committed to helping to make her community safer through rehabilitation and helping prisoners to take steps to improve their lives and skills.
Karla holds a master’s degree in Psychology from Walden University and is a member of the American Psychological Association and is currently the Chairperson for the Bermuda College Alumni Association. She is enrolled in the Certificate of Nursing Assistant program as well as Message Therapy. She is also involved in many community events and programs. She is skilled in program development, coaching and change management, and credits her success to determination and hard work. In her spare time, she enjoys networking, travel, sports, local and international politics, spending quality time with her family, and helping people where possible.
