Biography
With 18 years of experience in the mental health industry as a dedicated social worker, I have devoted my career to supporting individuals facing mental health challenges and addictions across various demographics. My journey has been deeply personal, as I was diagnosed with bipolar II disorder and an anxiety disorder in 2017. This lived experience shapes my understanding and compassion for those I work with. Throughout my career, I have collaborated with diverse populations, including the homeless, youth involved in the justice system, and individuals navigating the complexities of mental health. I have had the privilege of helping thousands of people better understand themselves, providing them with hope and faith during their most difficult times. Now, I am embarking on a new chapter in my journey, integrating my skills and experiences from the past 18 years into a fresh approach to healing. As a Food as Medicine Culinary Professional, I am excited to share my passion for nutritious, easy-to-make meals. I believe in the transformative power of healthy food and its ability to heal both the body and mind. I look forward to teaching others how to incorporate nourishing foods into their lives and promoting wellness through the kitchen. Together, we can make a difference, one meal at a time.
