Sotiria Psoma

Dr Psoma is currently a Senior Lecturer in BioNanotechnology and Electronic Engineering at the School of Engineering and Innovation of the Open University in UK. Her previous work experience includes several senior research and teaching posts in UK, Switzerland and Greece. Her first degree is in Electronic Engineering. She received her PhD and MSc from the Institute of BioScience and Technology of Cranfield University, UK. Her main research interests are in the fields of wearable biosensors, human energy harvesting, nanotechnology, BioMEMS, bioelectronics, personalised medicine, diabetes management, lab-on-a-chip technology, microfluidics, biofunctionalised polymers, 3D printing technology and fluorescence.
