Shelley Robertson

I was a copy girl, reporter and copy editor at theWinnipeg Free Press before moving to Toronto to a job at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, where I worked in both radio and television. I then had a 20-year career at the Toronto Star as a copy editor, editor and section editor. I taught journalism at Toronto's Metropolitan University (then Ryerson) for 20 years and have been an instructor in the University of Toronto's Fellowship in Journalism and Health Impact since its inception 13 years ago. I'm also a freelance book editor and copy editor.
