Biography
I have built my career around a simple but powerful goal: helping others. I am an Assistant Professor of Nursing and the Clinical & Skills Lab Coordinator for a local private university. I am also a Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse, with over a decade of experience in medical-surgical nursing since 2012, with over five years dedicated to nursing education. My passion lies in supporting patients, advocating for those who may not be heard, and mentoring students as they grow into confident, compassionate healthcare professionals. I take pride in creating meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that bridge the gap between knowledge and practice, helping students develop both clinical competence and critical thinking skills. I find fulfillment in building strong connections—whether in the classroom, simulation lab, or community—and I value authenticity, balance, and lifelong learning. Outside of my professional role, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and embracing the simple moments that bring joy and perspective. Being part of the Worldwide Women’s Association allows me to connect with inspiring women, share experiences, and continue growing both personally and professionally while contributing to a community of strong, driven leaders.
