Wendy Gibson

Biography

As a lifelong swimmer, I taught my young children and their friends how to swim. Working as a public school teacher and having summers off, I continued the practice of teaching swim lessons and coaching summer league swim teams each passing summer. After many years as a public school teacher and higher education adjunct professor, it was time to take my passion to the next level. In 2024 I officially opened Wendy's Waves Swim School. At Wendy's Waves Swim School we believe every body should have the opportunity to be safe and have fun in the water. Our mission is to improve the development of swimmers of all ages and abilities through quality and personalized swim instruction focused on safety and nurturing lifelong skills.
