Sima Shah arrived in the US as an immigrant in 1999 to Silicon Valley, CA where she worked in the tech industry for more than 10 years as a software engineer. She has now opened her Primrose School Franchise in San Jose where she hires and trains the teachers in learning & development and early childhood education for infants to pre K. They are known for their excellence in child initiative and teacher guided programs in literacy and math.
Sima holds her Master's degree in Computer Science from USC and studied Early Childhood Education at West Valley College. She is also a member of NAEC and CAEYG and a Primrose Region D Board Member for Best Practices. She is also a committee member for Norcal Deca, a mentorship program for high school kids who want to be business owners. Moving forward, she would like to open five more schools in the next five years in the Bay Area, two of which are scheduled to open in 2021.
