**Biography of Raisa Mercedes Tapia**
Greetings! I am Raisa Mercedes Tapia, a passionate and dedicated professional in the realm of health and wellness. I was born on April 18, 1984, in the Dominican Republic. From a young age, I was committed to learning and personal growth, values that have guided my journey to this day.
My academic journey began with earning my Bachelor's degree from El Buen Pastor School in 2001. Since then, my thirst for knowledge led me to further my education at the University of Málaga, where I specialized in Quiro-Masaje Corporal in 2011. These initial studies marked the beginning of my path in the world of health and wellness.
However, my passion for aiding others and my desire to provide comprehensive support drove me to go beyond. I delved into the field of rehabilitation and physical therapy, earning a Mention in Physical Therapy from UCSD between 2013 and 2020. These experiences offered me the opportunity to understand the importance of approaching health holistically, addressing both physical and emotional aspects.
My dedication to maternal well-being and support during the childbirth process led me to become a certified Doula de Parto y Doula Pos-Parto, accredited by DONA International and CAPPA Latinoamérica in 2018. These certifications empowered me to provide unique and personalized support to women during one of the most significant moments of their lives.
Throughout my career, I have sought to enrich my education and skills through various certifications and specialized courses. I have ventured into areas such as nutrition in health, surgical assistance, and sexual and family coaching, allowing me to comprehensively address my patients' needs.
My journey also encompasses meaningful roles in the workforce. I served as an Administrative Assistant at Marat Legal from 2005 to 2009, and later as a Designer and Sales Manager at RML Designs in 2011. These opportunities provided me with valuable insights into business management and the importance of customer service.
In addition to my commitment to clinical practice, I have also pursued excellence in system management and technology. My proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Zoom, G-Meet, and Skype, coupled with my experience in both Windows and Mac OS operating systems, showcase my versatility and adaptability in digital environments.

My academic background, diverse work experiences, and continuous pursuit of knowledge have enabled me to become a leader in my field.
