Biography

My name is Nastaran. I immigrated to Canada in 2014, a life-changing decision that required me to leave behind my family, friends, memories, and hometown. It was a difficult step, but looking back now, I am confident it was the right one. The journey has not always been easy, but I am proud of how far I have come and of the strength that helped me keep moving forward. After arriving in Canada, I enrolled in college to study French and earned my certificate. With a bachelor’s degree in accounting from my home country, I wanted to continue in the same field, so I completed my business studies in accounting here as well. Shortly after graduation, I secured my first job in Canada as an Accounts Receivable Clerk. Even though I already had five years of experience as an accountant, I embraced the opportunity to learn and build Canadian experience. From there, I advanced to the position of Accounts Payable Coordinator, continuing to develop my skills and knowledge. Today, with eight years of Canadian experience, I am proud to be working as an Accounts Payable Supervisor in a wonderful company alongside a supportive and talented team. My journey has had many ups and downs, especially since immigrating, but I never gave up. I am proud of what I have achieved, and I remain committed to growing, learning, and building an even stronger future for myself.
