Linda Petelka

Biography

As Director of Business Improvement for the Region of Halton, I implemented many new tools and projects to improve asset management capabilities for the Public Works department focusing on Water and Wastewater infrastructure. As a result of those achievements I was nominated for the 2008 American Public Works Association Top Ten Leader of the Year Award and was presented with that award. Following that I was President if the Ontario Public Works Association and then served as a Director for the American Public Works Association. Following that 37 year career in Public Works I went to work in the Transportation arena working in various roles for Load Covering Solutions. This company provides innovation tarping solutions to a wide variety companies including Aerospace, the Military, NASA, as well as trucking fleets and those companies that require a rolling building. In my current role there I handle HR, IT, and all legal and asset management requirements
