Biography

I grew up as an artist. From a very young age I loved creativity, expression, emotions, imagination. I acted on stage, played many roles, and felt alive in the world of people, feelings and stories. There was always something in me that loved connection. Later in life I spent many years teaching — children, adults, languages, different subjects and ideas. I genuinely loved people. I loved helping. I loved seeing someone grow, understand, smile, succeed. But somewhere inside me… I felt something was missing. The interactions were meaningful, yet many of the conversations still felt surface-level. I knew there had to be something deeper. Something more real. More human. More healing. And so my own journey began. A journey of inner healing. Of self-discovery. Of learning how the mind, body, emotions and subconscious truly work together. A journey of finding my own soul, my own voice, my own peace, my own worth. What started as personal healing slowly became a calling. I began sharing small discoveries with people around me… simple insights, calming tools, emotional understanding, ways to reconnect with themselves. And I saw something beautiful happen. People opened up. They felt safe. They felt seen. They felt hope. Very quickly I understood that this was not “just interest.” This was my path. So I went deeper. Years of learning. Professional education. I honestly do not see people as broken. I see human beings carrying stress, pain, conditioning, disappointment, fear, old stories… while still holding enormous beauty, wisdom and potential underneath it all. Sometimes people simply need a hand. A safe space. Someone to believe in them until they can believe in themselves again. That is the kind of work I love. And beyond all titles and certifications, I am also simply a woman who deeply loves life. I am personally very happy. I have a beautiful marriage. Wonderful relationships with my children, friends and the people around me. But more than anything, I have learned to have a loving relationship with myself. With my body. With nature. With the spiritual part of me — the soul within me. With life itself. From a young age, I never saw differences in religion, background, skin color or culture as reasons for separation. To me, people are people. Each carrying a story. A heart. A world within them. And I believe every person deserves compassion, dignity, healing and the chance to rediscover who they truly are. So this is me. Warm-hearted. Grounded. Curious. Passionate about human transformation. Still learning. Still growing. Still caring deeply. My name is Elah West. I am a hypnotherapist, somatic practitioner and life coach. And my passion is helping people create real change — from the inside out.
