Cathrin is a multifaceted individual, weaving a tapestry of art, literature, and technology through her remarkable career. With over 30 years under her belt as an Author, she's made invaluable contributions to both print and electronic media, and she's currently at work on "Madness and the Unlikely Gift"—a fictional tale narrated in the compelling style of a memoir. As an Art Historian, Cathrin's expertise shines when discussing the Dirty War in Argentina (1976 - 1983), and she's notably lectured on this, as well as on graffiti and street art in Bogotá, Colombia, at revered institutions like Montclair State University (NJ) and the Carnegie Center for Art & History (IN). The Routledge Encyclopedia of Modernism (2016) also features her insights on Pedro Nel Gomez, the renowned Colombian mural artist.
Technologically adept, Cathrin plays a pivotal role as a Technical Product Owner for symplr, guiding the development of integral hardware and software for workforce applications in hospitals across the country. Her mastery of Pendo provides crucial insights, elevating user experiences across symplr's suite of products. Additionally, Cathrin's linguistic talents stand out; as a polyglot, she reads, writes, and converses in French, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese.
Beyond her manifold professional endeavors, she fervently works towards enhancing accessibility in literature, offering her voice to authors eager to transform their texts into audiobooks.
