As a Head of School for over 15 years, Carmen Arenas has created an ideal learning environment, hired the right team of educators, and upheld the Association Montessori International (AMI) standards for a Montessori education. Having achieved the dream of opening her own school, Montessori School of South Riding, Carmen now seeks to take on a new challenge. In her work, Carmen believes firmly that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. Her myriad of experience positions her well to continue her goal of developing programs for children in underserved communities. Also bilingual, Carmen is fluent in Spanish and English. Passionate about her work, Carmen credits her success to dedication, drive, and perseverance. She looks forward to networking with likeminded professionals.
