Biography

MY PROFESSIONAL EXPERTISE I have extensive experience in the vocational training sector, where I have worked on more than 25 study programs as a teacher, educational consultant and director. I have been responsible for over 50 teachers and 500 students. Academically, I hold a Master's degree in Education and Training Management, and my memoire, presented at Université Paris-Nanterre, was on “Self-training or self-directed learning in the workplace”. As a training manager, I am involved in all types of training, from needs analysis to the evaluation of training activities and return on investment. I have managed numerous work teams, national projects and several strategic thinking processes. I have developed large expertise in various training models: individualized teaching, work-study programs, distance learning, recognition of prior learning. My understanding of current issues in education is vast, particularly regarding lifelong learning and the development of AI. I've been a member of several national boards of directors, serving as secretary, treasurer, vice-president and president. I have held international training mandates and delivered some 100 conferences and workshops for numerous organizations in Quebec, Canada and Europe. MY PROFESSIONAL SKILLS: • Carry out national strategic analyses in education • Integrate the cultural dimensions inherent in a development project • Ensure national, regional and local governance of projects • Manage educational partnerships and development projects • Conduct needs analyses, develop, disseminate and evaluate training activities • Monitor and conduct action research, develop projects and produce materials • Develop models, approaches and learning paths • Manage production, dissemination and support appropriation of documentation and tools • Organize work-study programs, distance learning and individualized instruction • Plan, develop, implement and evaluate programs and systems • Carry out strategic, financial, organizational and operational management • Manage staff and support ongoing skills development • Develop and share mission and vision, manage change • Lead and mobilize multidisciplinary work teams • Offer consulting expertise, coaching and support MY PUBLICATIONS : MEQ (2022).
