Biography
In 2007, Karen Gisèle Gagné returned to school and obtained an Honours Diploma in Paralegal studies and in 2009, after having passed the Paralegal exam, became a licensed Paralegal with the Law Society of Ontario. She practiced as a self- employed and associate Paralegal for seven years. In August of 2020, the Notaries Act was amended to allow Paralegals to be appointed as Notary Publics in the same manner as lawyers. After applying for the designation, she received the Attorney Generals appointment as a Notary Public in June of 2021 and subsequently opened a Notary Public office in Wortley Village, London, ON where she practices solely as a Notary Public & Commissioner of Oaths. In her spare time, Karen enjoys spending time in nature, archery, kayaking, fishing and camping in Provincial & National Parks across Canada. Passionate about her work, Karen credits her success to dedication, drive, and perseverance. She looks forward to networking with likeminded professionals.
