Jolanta Kowal

Jolanta Kowal, Ph.D. and DSc. in social sciences, economics, and finance (2020), is a Professor at the University of Wrocław and Gdańsk University of Technology, Poland. She is also a certified Jungian analyst (IAAP) and associated certified coach (ICF). She is the Senior President of the Polish AIS Chapter, PTPA President, Board Member at AJAP, and Research VP at SIG GLOBDEV (AIS). Her research interests include the methodology of socio-economic sciences, economic psychology, managerial economics, and multicultural influences of ICT and psychoanalysis. Jolanta published over 100 scientific papers in esteemed journals such as Information Systems Management (ISM), Information Technology for Development (ITD), the Electronic Journal of Information Systems in Developing Countries (EJISDC), the Journal of Global Information Technology Management (JGITM), and the International Journal of Pedagogy, Innovation, and New Technologies (IJPINT). She presented papers in the proceedings of conferences such as AMCIS, HICSS, IEEE, and ICTM, among others. She is a member of the editorial board of the journal ITD and a guest editor for the ISM, EJISDC, and IJPINT, among others. The European Commission, the National Center for Research and Development, the State Committee for Scientific Research, and others have funded her projects.
