Eman Abu Elhawa

Dr. Eman Baker Abu Elhawa is a researcher, academic, and executive leader specializing in Energy Security, Water Security, Environmental Sustainability, and Climate Resilience. She serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CEESC Canada (Clean Energy & Environmental Security Consulting Center), a specialized consulting and research center dedicated to advancing clean energy solutions, environmental security, and sustainable development.

Holding a PhD in International Relations, Dr. Abu Elhawa’s research focuses on the interconnected challenges of energy, water, food, and environmental security (WEFE Nexus), with a particular emphasis on developing innovative, evidence-based solutions that support sustainable resource management, climate adaptation, and long-term resilience.

Her areas of expertise include renewable energy, clean energy transition, water resource management, environmental governance, hydrogen innovation, climate policy, sustainability strategies, and the integration of technology and artificial intelligence to enhance resource security and environmental performance.

As CEO of CEESC Canada, she leads research, consulting, and policy initiatives that bridge academia, industry, and government, supporting decision-makers in developing sustainable strategies that strengthen energy, water, food, and environmental security at national and regional levels.
