Biography
Denyse Nadon is the Founder/COO for Tribalure Canada Inc., an Indigenous online cosmetics and skincare company as well as the President & Owner of Bear Vision Consulting & Training where she teaches essential workplace based and life skills. She does speaking engagements in the area of Indigenous Education and decolonization work. Denyse She is also an avid beader where she has recently created "Kokokoo Ik8e Kreations" where she designs and beads beautiful Indigenous earrings. Denyse is an Algonquin woman and is a member of the Apitipi Anicinapek Nation in Northeastern, Ontario. Her Indigenous name is KoKoKoo Ik8e (Screech Owl Woman) and she is from the Muk8a (Bear) Clan. For the past twenty years, she has been the owner/operator of Bear Vision, an Indigenous consulting & training company specializing in economic development, community development and skills training, predominantly in the mining industry. Denyse obtained her Masters of Education from Yorkville University in New Brunswick and is known for her expertise in adult education, negotiation and relationship building. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Education through Athabasca University. Denyse has served as the Executive Director for the Native Women's Association of NWT as well as served on various boards.
