Jillian Magee is a seasoned professional in the world of Live Event Production and Hospitality. As the Director of Audio Visual at Projection Inc. for the Seaport Hotel and World Trade Center, she brings a wealth of experience and a passion for creating exceptional event experiences. Jillian's journey in this industry began when she secured a part-time job as an usher at City Winery at the age of 18. Little did she know that this would spark her interest in Live Event Production. While pursuing her studies in Film and Photography at Pace University, Jillian continued to work at City Winery, nurturing her passion for the field. Jillian enjoys Drag Shows, Concerts, Boston Bruins, and Stand Up Comedy. Born and raised in Boston, she lived in New York for 12 years from 18 to 30 before coming home. Upon graduating, Jillian's career took off as she assumed the role of Operations Manager at the Schimmel Center, where the iconic "Inside the Actor's Studio" was filmed. Here, she gained invaluable insights into every aspect of event production, from marketing to front-of-house management and understanding the intricacies of union operations. Jillian's journey then led her to PSAV (now Encore Global), where she served as the Operations Manager of the Sheraton Times Square Ballroom. Her dedication and expertise quickly propelled her to the role of Director of Operations. Seeking new horizons, she accepted the challenging position of Director of Event Production at TD Garden and Fenway Park, but just as she stepped into this role, the COVID-19 pandemic struck, halting the events industry. Despite the setback, Jillian's resilience prevailed, and after a year of uncertainty, she eagerly returned to her passion – crafting unforgettable event experiences. After six successful years with Encore, she decided to explore new opportunities, and she currently holds the prestigious position of Director of Audio Visual at Projection Inc., based at the Seaport Hotel and World Trade Center. Jillian's educational background is anchored in a B.A. degree in Film and Photography, which she earned from Pace University in 2012. Her journey from a part-time usher to a Director of Audio Visual reflects her unwavering commitment, adaptability, and expertise in the dynamic world of Live Event Production and Hospitality.
