Chelsey De Groot brings a bold, values-driven approach to designing and refining evidence-based programming. With over a decade of leadership experience in justice and recovery sectors—including roles with Lethbridge Drug Treatment Court, CMHA, and I’taamohkanoohsin—Chelsey is known for her sharp operational insight, unwavering commitment to client care, and ability to lead teams with clarity and purpose. Chelsey holds a Master of Arts in Leadership and a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Justice Studies, both completed while raising her daughter as a single parent—an accomplishment that speaks to her ambition, resilience, and drive. A recipient of the 2018 Community Leader Award and former President of Lethbridge and Area Search and Rescue, she is equally recognized for her professional achievements and her deep personal integrity. A self-described deep thinker and lifelong learner, Chelsey draws strength from her lived experiences and finds grounding in nature. She leads with authenticity, champions growth—in herself and others—and believes fiercely in serving people in the best way possible.
