Chantal Carbonneau

As the co-funder of Healthcare Business Association (HBA) Montreal, a non-profit organization committed to achieve gender parity and provide equitable practice and accelerate advancement of woman in healthcare business, I create initiatives to support women through strategies, networking, activity planning and solutions to remove barriers and allow women to explore new opportunities. Through my pharmaceutical background in Rare Disease and in Oncology, I acquired expertise in making treatments accessible to patients by enabling diverse organizations to optimize their resources and increase the diagnostic and the awareness of the disease. In the course of my career, I developed my agility to leverage my network and execute comprehensive strategies to increase patient’s access to treatments, to negotiating complex deals with C-Suite Executives, to build and lead high-performing teams, and developing initiatives that elevate relationships with key partner stakeholders. This background has equiped me with the skills to navigate the unique demand of the Canadian healthcare system, manage tenders and successfully negotiate complex contracts. With Bachelors in Psychology and in Criminology, i gained varied experiences as a therapist, mediator and Clinical Director before i join the Pharmaceutical industry. One of my key strengths is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment. I am adept at adapting to changes and challenges, ensuring that the partnerships I cultivate contribute to the dynamic growth and success of the organization I work for.
