Monika E. Naef is Partner & Owner of Dufour Advokatur Notariat (Dufour Attorneys and Notary Public).  With over 29 years of experience in the legal field, she is a specialist in business law, business development, international business relations, and trade. She offers client consultations and a full suite of legal and advisory services across a diverse range of industry and activity, including license agreements, M&A, employment and pension related issues, and start up or new enterprise ventures, particularly in the field of life sciences.
 
After earning a degree in Law from the University of Basel and passing her bar-exam, Monika became in-house legal counsel for a multinational pharmaceutical and chemical group, where she counseled the pharma and chemicals divisions, and offered expertise in HR and pension fund issues.  Prior to founding Dufour together with three partners, she rose to become the Head of Section Law for multinational chemical company. Apart from her legal practice, she also currently serves on the board of IWB Industrielle Werke Basel. She is a certified Global Negotiator. Excellent with languages, she speaks fluent English and German, as well as a working proficiency of French with some knowledge of Italian, Dutch and Spanish.
 
Monika attributes her success to hard work, listening to people’s needs, as well as being a great problem solver and keen negotiator. Active in her community, she is currently a member of the cantonal Board of Education (Bildungsrat) and has volunteered as the President of Zonta Club Oberrhein, part of a worldwide organization of executives in business and the professions working together to advance the status of women. She is proud to have juggled her career while raising her 2 children, achieving a sense of balance in her life. She also enjoys hiking, sailing, spending time with family and friends, reading and music concerts.

Jacqueline van Werkhoven is a Consultant and Interim Director/Board Member of Education for van Werkhoven. She started her own business 4 years ago and has been a board member for over 15 years.
 
She started her career as a special education teacher because she wanted to help others to grow. She worked several years abroad in special education in the Republic of Kiribati and Fiji for VSO (Voluntary Service Overseas) She received her Master’s Degree in Special Education from the University of Greenwich. She worked as a manager at teacher training and is still involved in teacher training at LOI in the Netherlands.
 
In the next 3-5 years, Jacqueline plans to be the owner of a bigger company to help others develop education in the Netherlands. She attributes her success to her drive and passion to contribute to social added values and professional development of her own and others in Education/ the Public Domain. When not working she enjoys reading, spending time with family, traveling and Greece. She resides in Oegstgeest, Netherlands.

Adriana Castillo Lopez Founded Hace Consultores in 2005. She manages the schools, institutions, leadership, administration, and all educational aspects of the company. HACE Consultores is a consulting firm that provides diagnostic, counseling and training services to support the growth of organizations, facilitating personal and professional development of its employees through comprehensive solutions that suit their needs.
 
Adriana speaks at numerous conferences, and has facilitated many lectures in reference to education. Many articles have been written about her in Digital Ecological Magazine of Mexico. She was a teacher for 25 years working with teenagers, and then later moved toward consulting, eventually embarking on her own business.
 
When not working Adriana enjoys reading. She received her Master of education and resides in Mexico.

Patricia Vasio is a Senior Manager for KPMG Advisory, one of the top consulting and professional services firms worldwide. With over 14 years of experience in business management, quality assurance, IT and project management, Patricia steers and monitors quality assurance for her department and assists with change and project management. She advises clients and guides program transformation, SAP and plan implementation. She also sells and delivers high quality projects and programs to her clients, and develops strong internal teams. In addition, she has intervened on transformation programs and service management for the information technology (IT) department.
 
After earning a master’s degree in Engineering with a concentration in consulting and management from the Ecole supérieure d’Informatique, Electronique et Automatique, Patricia became a Financial Advisor for Gras Savoye. She is She is ITIL certified and has successfully worked on complex business and IT program transformation in international and multi-cultural environments. Prior to joining KPMG, she was a Coordinator of Transformation Projects for ATEP Services and OTHEA Conseil.
 
As a youth, Patricia planned to be either a pilot or architect, but she found her niche in engineering. She speaks fluent French, English, Portuguese and Spanish. In the future, she hopes to be more involved with the business and strategic aspects of her job, diversifying out of IT. Patricia wants to assist in building a strong network platform for businesswomen of all ages and connecting women industry leaders with other select female business professionals.

Lorena Cesaretti is the Director of Wholesale Markets in Latin America for Level3 Communications, a premier provider of global communication services, creating solutions that strengthen the growth, efficiency and security of businesses around the world. With over 20 years of experience in telecommunications and international markets, she is an expert in managed services and unified communications in a high speed and wireless world.
 
Helping to provide her clients with bandwidth, IT, cloud and security services, she is an expert in networking and fiber optics. Her job requires skills in strategic planning and business development both for Level3 Communications and for her clients, to best address their telecommunications needs.
 
With a Master of Business Administration from the University of Guadalajara, Lorena attributes her success to always learning and growing with her job—understanding that it is important to stay updated on current industry changes and trends. Prior to serving in her role at Level3, she was the Director of Wholesale Markets – Latin America first for Global Crossing, which became acquired by Level3 in 2011.
 
A resident of Panama City, Panama, Lorena oversees a team whose team members are strategically based in Argentina, Chile, Panama, Puerto Rico and the U.S. When not working she enjoys traveling, diving and swimming.
