Janet C. Richards is a Senior Examiner at the Central Bank of Trinidad & Tobago, an important player in the financial sector overall development of its country on the global market. With more than 20 years of experience in accounting and finance, Janet is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in regulation and supervision in banking, insurance and securities. She has represented the Central Bank at regional and international banking conferences and presented papers on financial stability and systemically important financial institutions. Janet was selected to establish and manage the onboarding by the Central Bank of five (5) national institutions that were designated by the Government of Trinidad and Tobago as being of systemic importance to the economy and financial system of Trinidad and Tobago.
After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and History (Hons) from the University of the West Indies St. Augustine Campus, Janet launched her career in accounting and quickly rose through the ranks. She is a Fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants and is a Certified Forensic Public Accountant from the Forensic Certified Accountants Association of the United States.
A resident of Beaucarro, Trinidad & Tobago, Janet credits her success to having an open mind and finely honed leadership skills. She is Director on the board of one of the country’s most substantial government-owned utility company and its subsidiary. She is a firm believer in giving back, and uses her success to help her community, and contributes to the Heroes Foundation, which helps support disadvantaged students. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and is an avid runner.

Jo Laird is the owner and Senior Production Revenue Accountant at jayelle solutions inc. She oversees all operations of her business and continues to give her clients the most accurate and dependable work. She also analyzes compliance for both Enhanced Production Audit Program (EPAP) and Sarbanes Oxley. She also does work in Joint Venture Accounting, Cost Accounting and Marketing Accounting, and Drilling Administration. She has been working in the oil and gas industry for more than 20 years.
Jo has been fortunate in that she has worked with the implementation of software for both production accounting and marketing systems. She was always interested in mathematics and application work. She truly enjoys her profession, as it was a natural progression for her. In the next three-to-five years, she sees herself continuing to grow with her company. The highlight of her career is being able to have a profession that she truly enjoys, and views her business is her greatest professional accomplishment.
Event Planning is a sideline that Jo truly enjoys and has organized many events in her area.
Jo is interested in connecting with other women in various areas of business. The keys to her success are her dependability, accuracy, reliability, the partnerships and network she has accrued, and being trustworthy. Jo is an avid community volunteer. She is the Lifestyles Coordinator of The Calgary Stampede’s Western Showcase Committee, and her teams meet six times per month year round. She is involved in six more organizations, including CAPPA (Canadian Association of Petroleum Production Accountants), Alberta Foothills Desk & Derrick Club, STARS Air Ambulance, The Elite Escape, PASC (Petroleum Accountants Society of Canada) and PJVA (Petroleum Joint Venture Association). Patricia LaRue is a Software Consultant for Software Brew, LLC, a company she recently launched to offer global software consulting, training, and web-hosting services. A pioneer in software development, Patricia entered the field in the early 1980s, becoming one of the few female software engineers at the forefront of the computer revolution. A seasoned expert in computer science and software, she is highly sought after for object-oriented and database design, and client/web server design.
Patricia is fluent in many different coding languages, including Node.js, AngularJS, Express.js, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, Objective C, Swift, Java, C++, C#, C, XML, SVG, SQL, PL/SQL, PHP and more. She is also adept at numerous development environments, such as NetBeans, InteliJ, AppCode, Xcode, Eclipse, JDeveloper, JCreator and Microsoft Visual Studio.
Upon taking a night computer class at a local public school in early adulthood, Patricia discovered her passion for computers. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a concentration in Computer Science from Eckerd College, and quickly established herself as a rising talent in the software development field.
During her career, she has served in different roles on many projects. She worked on the Shuttle contract for the Aerospace Industry at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. She also worked on the Fairchild Aviation Flight Recorder (commonly known as a “black box”) software at Fairchild Weston Schlumberger in Sarasota, Florida. One of her most recent and rewarding projects was working with the inventor of Touchless Fingerprinting technology at IDair, LLC. There, she was responsible for designing and developing the software for multiple security hardware devices including IDair’s ONEprint® and mobile devices for both Android and iOS. She has also worked on multiple contracted projects for NASA and the Defense Industry at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama as well as many enterprise-wide commercial applications for such companies as GTE Telecommunications, Ceridian, Alltel and Emerson Network Power. Her experience encompasses many different software programming languages and platforms as well as Relational Database Design and Development. She has served in recent years as a Systems Architect, Software Architect, and Principal Architect on both large and small-scale applications using popular notation systems such as the Unified Modeling Language (UML) Diagrams and Entity Relationship (ER) Diagrams. She currently serves as the Senior Software Engineer for Archarithms, Inc.
Passionate about equality for women, especially in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) careers, Patricia is seeking to expand her career into teaching, speaking and writing on the topic. She is the author of a training manual, Introduction to SQL and Relational Database Management Systems, which generated over $700,000 in revenues the first year it was taught. She is still fighting and advocating, three decades later, for the legitimacy that women professionals deserve.

Denise Ceballos is the Account Payable Manager and a Senior Financial Analyst for Ralph Lauren Americas, a global leader in the design, marketing and distribution of premium lifestyle products. With over a decade of experience in finance and telecommunications, she has broad experience across accounting, engineering and business strategy that she has been able to apply to the business side of the fashion industry. For the firm, she manages vendor relations and maintains the timely and accurate processing of invoices, expense reports, credit memos and payment transactions. She also oversees compliance and records, reconciles the general ledger, and is in charge of Intercompany reconciliations, Finally, but not less is in charge of the first level of controlling of the expense as a controller.
After earning a degree in System Engineering, Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from the Technological University of Panama, Denise went on to study postgraduate Management Business, Business Administration and Management, and to receive a master of Business Administration in Finance from Interamerican University of Panama. In 2014, she became certified as an Accountant by UNESCPA. Prior to joining Ralph Lauren in 2012, she was a Financial Analyst and Project Manager for Cable and Wireless Panamá, where she was the recipient of the President’s Award for Outstanding Performance.

After earning a degree in Graphic Design and English from the Universidad de Monterrey, Marcela demonstrated herself as a skilled marketer and rose through the ranks to become Director of Marketing and Publicity for TNS, and she spent 10 years as the Associate Director of Marketing and Finance for Structuras, an incentive and event management company and Aletas y Picos, a bottled spring water company. Prior to joining Grupo AGA in December, she was the Operations and Sales Director at Nouvel Studio SA de CV, a handcraft of blown crystal company that designs and fabricates unique high end crystal products like the ones of Murano, Italy.
