For the past years, Barbara Vercruysse has been a Transformational Coach and the owner of Barbara Vercruysse – Start the Life of Your Dreams. Accepting only a few select clients each month, she ensures that her clients receive the utmost in care, attention and personalization. Barbara’s focus is on building resilience, building self-confidence, and helping her clients to find or recover their passion and purpose in life.
 
A celebrated author, Barbara published the books “Start the Life of Your Dreams – A 7-step Program to a Successful and Fulfilled life” and “7 Most Powerful Techniques to Release Stress,” and has been featured in the Huffington Post.
 
After earning a master’s degree Field in French Studies, Cum Laude from Provinciale Hogeschool voor Vertalers en Tolken, Barbara went on to complete postgraduate studies in Marketing, cum laude at VLEKHO Business School Brussel. She was recently selected for the ThoughtLeaderSchool, under its founder, Bryant McGill, where she has been able to transform her own life and her ability to impact the lives of others for the better.
 
Part of Barbara’s passionate drive is due to her incredible story: in 2003 she was diagnosed with stage 4 skin cancer and given approximately 6 months to live. But after several surgeries and a year of chemotherapy, she survived it all. Upon reclaiming her health and being given a new lease on life, she left the family business, a construction company that her parents had passed down to her. The time had come for Barbara to follow her passion and started her own coaching business.
 
90% of Barbara’s clients are women, and many are corporate leaders between the ages of 30-50. She advises on marketing, quality control and personal development, including for multinational brands such as BMW. In spite of her focus on being able to provide quality coaching (over offering less than superior service to a large quantity) when accepting new clients, she is able to reach and empower thousands of people across the world through her vibrant social media and blog.
 
Barbara credits her success to being able to lead by example. She has faced many challenges and much adversity in her life, and through her extraordinary resiliency and ability to problem solve, she is able to help to her clients translate their setbacks into success.

Ana Maria Pelaez is a prolific writer, blogger and happiness trainer in Latin America. With nearly 3 decades of professional experience, she teaches workshops, and shares her expertise on happiness management. She has been featured in El Heraldo and PetLovers Magazine. Televisa in Mexico, among others. She is an expert in marketing and Happiness science, and also serves as Marketing Manager of Autolitoral, a family-run business.
 
Ana Maria earned a master’s degree in marketing from the Universidad de los Andes in 2010, Certified coach and speaker by John C. Maxwell, Master Training neurosales by BIIA LAB USA and Member of the Asociación Latinoamericana de Expositores ALAEX, Her books can be found in Libreria Nacional In Colombia and the Grupo Rodrigo Porrúa in Mexico. She resides in Colombia, and speaks fluent English, Spanish and French.
 
Outside of her professional endeavors, she enjoys dancing, reading, and spending time with her family and dogs. President of her Foundation Entrelazando Corazones that rescues, cures and gives in adoption Homeless Dogs and Cats.

Joana Acevedo is the Co-Founder of Kids on Going. With over eleven years of experience, Joana is best known for her expertise in management, business development, human resources, childcare and business.

Kids on Going is a children’s daycare in Mexico City, specialized in the very first development stage. Our offer is an integral one that considers important stimulation for each developmental stage in children from 45 days of birth to 4 years old, as Kids on Going believes that emotional development it is very important for our children. They also value nutrition, health, values, security, and teamwork with parents. They follow up developmental process for each child, counts with a personalized process.

Following the completion of her bachelor’s degree, Joana went on to receive her master’s in business administration from the Tecnológico de Monterrey. Prior to establishing Kids on Going, Joana worked in the human resources at IBM for six years. During her time at IBM, Joana was recognized for her individual work and work she was able to complete with her team.

In the next three to five years, Joana would like to continue developing as an entrepreneur and she would like to continue expanding her business. She credits her success to her hard work and talent. Joana is very proud of the progression she has made within her career, particularly as a female entrepreneur in the professional arena.

Lerato Maupa is a Human Resources Executive and registered assessor and moderator. Holding a BA in Psychology and various diplomas, she is in the process of completing her Master of Science in Human Resources Management and Development.  She is currently the Chairperson of the Nedbank Woman’s Forum.

An HR Professional with over 13 years working experience in the Human Resources field,  she has worked in various industries which include Logistics, Manufacturing, Mining and Banking. Her experience spans over a myriad of expertise, but some highlights include Organisational Culture and Change, Transformation, Talent Management, Employee Relations, Operational HR Management, Performance Management and Learning and Development.

Lerato spends her personal time with her children, as well as coaching young graduates and preparing them for the world of work. She firmly believes in lifelong learning and self development. She believes that each one of us have a responsibility in life to uplift the other person. Looking ahead, Lerato is available to become a board member.
