Roxanne Mohammed is co-founder of Noel’s Transportation Service, one of the premier transportation companies on Trinidad and Tobago. Offering a supremely comfortable, efficient and affordable way to “take a ride,” the company offers airplane shuttle service, chartered tours, excursions and other private transport for up to 12 seated passengers.
In addition to running Noel’s Transportation Service, Roxanne is a Process Technology level 3 Lecturer at Automation Technology College, a Caribbean leader in vocational education and training that offers a wide variety of internationally recognized and accredited programs. With over 16 years of experience in her career, Roxanne has been in her current role since 2010 and teaches HOD of Process Technology Levels 3 & 2.
After earning a diploma in Chemical Engineering (SAIT) from The University of Trinidad and Tobago, Roxanne went on to complete a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Process and Utilities-Chemical from the University. She launched her career as a Process Plant Operator at Point Lisa’s Nitrogen Limited. In 2010, she joined faculty at the University, and in conjunction with her career as a lecturer worked as Unibio/Process Laboratory Technician. Her certifications are vast, and include Simtronics Simulator Instructor, Business Writing, Records Management, Intermediate Assessor, Internal Verifier Training, Fire Awareness/Emergency, IVQ Certificate in Teaching, Training and Assessing Learning, and NGC Tertiary Natural Gas Workshop.
Looking ahead, Roxanne plans to pursue her MBA and to continue to make an impact through her research. Her writing has been published in industry media, including the Journal of the Association of Professional Engineers of Trinidad and Tobago. Outside of her professional endeavors, Roxanne enjoys travel and music.

Esteemed writer and teacher Leticia Chávez currently serves as an intercultural Training Specialist and English language trainer. Focusing on to corporate staff and professionals in Mexico, where she is based, Leticia has over 16 years of experience and has been working in her current capacity since 2013. With her finger on the pulse of global business, Leticia is at the heart of the burgeoning Mexico market, where she has focused her work on expats looking to expand their professional opportunities in Mexico.
Currently, Leticia works for Word Factor, a Mexico City based training center and part of Learnlight Company. She trains clients to expand their horizons and opportunities interculturally throughout their business, work, tourism and academic pursuits. She also freelance trains her clients in on-site sessions, as well as remotely online. Her highly individualized sessions and curricula are tailored specifically to the needs of each student, to help them progress and integrate their business seamlessly into the Mexican business landscape.
Fluent in 4 languages, Leticia speaks English, Spanish, French and Italian, and her passion for language and celebrating diverse cultures is evident in all her endeavors. She earned a degree in International Relations and Foreign Affairs from the Facultad de Estudios Superiores Acatlán, and then went on to complete a diploma in International Relations and Teaching Languages from UNAM- FES Acatlán. Annachiara Tassan is the Publisher of DeA Planeta Libri, a joint venture between De Agostini Libri S.p.A. and Editorial Planeta Sau, part of the Planeta Group. With over three decades of experience in the field, Annachiara serves as the Editorial Director and Publisher of the firm’s Children, Juvenile and Adult Nonfiction divisions. Working with a team of editors, she scouts for new writing talent, manages acquistions and directs editorial activities on a national level.
After earning a master’s degree in English Language and Literature from the Università degli Studi di Padova, Annachiara launched her publishing career at The Walt Disney Company Italia spa. There, she became the Editorial Director of Global Books, and was the recipient of two awards for her contributions to the company. Prior to her current position, she joined De Agostini as Publisher Libri.
Known throughout the industry for her creativity, Annachiara developed several series and projects during her time at Disney and is now responsible for the development of over 300 tiles per year. She is a lifetime member of the WWA, and is looking to scout for new projects and work with more authors on an international level. She resides in Milan, and speaks fluent Italian and English. Ann-Marie Lorde is owner and Managing Director of Human Capital Training & Development Inc., a firm that specializes in industrial relations, research, training and human resources development. With over 21 years of experience in the human resources and labor sector, she is an expert on labor relations, employment regulation and negotiation, and offers additional advisory and consulting services to clients based outside of the region, as well.
Ann-Marie is currently engaged in a full-time capacity with CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank in the role of Senior Manager Industrial Relations, where Ann-Marie facilitates the negotiation of collective agreements and memoranda of understanding across 11 territories. In her capacity she advises on issues of discipline, negotiation and industrial relations. Her specialty areas are labor law, industrial/employee relations, collective bargaining, training and development.
After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus, Ann-Marie went on to complete a master’s degree in Law and Employment Relations from the University of Leicester. She is also currently pursuing an LLB to broaden her expertise and provide legal advisory services to her clients.
Looking ahead, Ann-Marie would like to continue to grow her outreach as she forays further into the legal sector. She is a role model to women in business and the legal sector, and a staunch advocate for the people she represents. Prior to registering Human Capital Training and Development, she was a Project Coordinator for the Caribbean Congress of Labour.
