Jennifer Guillory, LPN: Growing Through Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Community Service
Jennifer Guillory, LPN, is a behavioral healthcare leader, entrepreneur, educator, and community advocate in Southwest Louisiana. With more than 16 years of healthcare experience, she has built a career that began in clinical nursing and has expanded into behavioral healthcare leadership, program development, entrepreneurship, and community service.
Jennifer currently serves as an Outpatient Director in behavioral healthcare, where she leads intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization services. Her responsibilities include program operations, staff leadership, patient engagement, quality improvement, and program development. Her clinical background as a Licensed Practical Nurse continues to inform her approach to leadership, particularly in creating supportive environments for both staff and the individuals served by behavioral healthcare programs.
Jennifer earned her Licensed Practical Nursing credential from Louisiana Technical Community College’s Lamar Salter Campus in 2010. She is also an American Heart Association CPR Instructor, having completed instructor training through Ochsner Health in New Orleans. In addition, she is trained in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) through LivingWorks.
Alongside her healthcare career, Jennifer is a small business owner and entrepreneur. She is co-owner of C and J Vending, LLC, a Southwest Louisiana vending and self-service business she operates with her husband. Through the company, she has developed hands-on experience in business development, operations, technology implementation, customer relationships, marketing, and strategic growth.
Jennifer is also the owner of Jenn’s Fancy Feet Farm, an agricultural venture that has developed into an education and social media platform. Through the farm, she combines specialty poultry, agricultural education, communication, and entrepreneurship. Her work with the farm provides another avenue for sharing knowledge and connecting with others while building a growing agricultural brand around education, responsible poultry care, and rural farm life.
Community involvement is an important part of Jennifer’s professional life. She is a member of the Greater Beauregard Chamber of Commerce and participates in the Louisiana Economic Development Small and Emerging Business Development (SEBD) Program and the Hudson Initiative. She is also a member of the Worldwide Women’s Association and serves in community outreach leadership. In addition, Jennifer is a preschool Sunday School teacher and has a particular interest in bringing practical mental health education, crisis-response awareness, and meaningful outreach into community settings.
Jennifer’s career reflects a belief that professional growth does not necessarily mean leaving previous experience behind. Instead, she has continued building on her healthcare background while developing new skills and opportunities in leadership, business, education, and community service.
As her career continues to evolve, Jennifer hopes to encourage other women to recognize that there is always room to build a new chapter. Her journey demonstrates how experience gained in one field can become a foundation for leadership and entrepreneurship in many others.
